In the series 300 ASCO transfer switches, there are several items you need to be aware of.
The video in this post will show you some of them.
The membrane is the display with functional buttons.
The left section indicates the position of the transfer switch:
- If this light is illuminated, the transfer switch is in a normal or utility position
- If the bottom light is illuminated, the transfer switch is in the emergency position
The right section indicates what sources are available:
- If the light is illuminated, the normal sources within tolerance levels of the parameter set for the transfer switch.
- The same goes for the emergency button it is possible that both lights are illuminated simultaneously.
When you have the normal source available and your generator ready to start, push and hold the transfer test button for 15 seconds.
You can program a time delay from emergency to normal, or from normal to emergency.
The 300 series transfer switch contains information such as:
- Amperage
- Voltage
- Frequency
- Single-phase or three phase
