Where to find remote/auto start connections on the FG Wilson DCP-10 Control Panel

In this tutorial we'll be looking at where to find the remote start also known as auto start.

The first thing you need to know is:

  • The two wires on the back of the control panel, labeled wires 24 and 5, are always the two remote start connection wires.
  • Next, you will need to refer to your generator, included wiring schematic and locate where it says remote start or auto start in order to find the relevant connections for wires 24 and 5.

Additionally we can also see that wire 5 must plug into terminal 6 which is linked with terminal 7.

Once these connections are made all you need to do is ensure that your control panel is set to auto and you are good to go.
