In a generator, oil filters ensure:

Full-flow filtration of engine oil, which in turn protects moving parts, like crankshafts and camshafts.

What's the main purpose of a Fuel Filter?

One of fuel filter’s main purposes is to work as a water separator.

In a Generator water in the fuel can cause injectors to fail and lead to poor engine performance.

 

This happens when condensation forms inside partially full fuel tanks, often in humid environments, or where rainwater has entered.

It’s always a good idea to check and drain the water separator and replace your fuel filters regularly by using FG Wilson genuine filters.
