What's a Hybrid Generator?

Hybrid systems are usually used where there is no grid power, or bad-grid areas where utility power is available for just a few hours of the day.

They combine traditional generator set with another controllable electric source in order to generate a fuel efficient, noise reduced and environment friendly source of power supply.

It's an engine/battery combination which can be supplemented with wind or solar for an even greener solution.

• The engine powers the load and charges the battery. When the battery is charged, the engine shuts down.
• When the battery discharges to a predetermined level, the engine restarts.

Como optimizar la relación Aire/Combustible en Motores Perkins

Sabes de que se trata la Relación Aire/Combustible en un motor Diesel, en Plantas Eléctricas?

Es muy importante saber bajo que mezcla Aire/Combustible esta funcionando el motor Perkins de tu Planta Eléctrica, para determinar:

• Consumo de Combustible
• Control de Emisiones

Una mezcla deficiente produce:

• Temperaturas de combustion mas bajas.
• Incremento del hollin.
• Bajo NOX (oxido de nitrogeno)

Una mezcla optima produce:

• Temperaturas de combustion mas altas.
• Poca generacion de hollin
• Alto NOX

Cuando se habla de la afinación del motor, la 'relación aire / combustible' (RAC) es uno de los temas principales.

• La calibración adecuada de RAC es fundamental para el rendimiento y la durabilidad del motor y sus componentes.
• La RAC define la proporción de la cantidad de aire consumido por el motor, en comparación con la cantidad de combustible.

Recomendaciones Basicas para el adecuado mantenimiento de tu Planta Electrica.

1. Revisa en frío que no exista fuga de líquidos y verifica que el aceite no este turbio o tenga un color blanquecino.
2. Enciende la Planta de Luz al menos 1 vez cada 30 días, por al menos 30 minutos y mantenla entre un 30% y un 75% de su capacidad.
3. Asegúrate que la temperatura de operación alcance aprox. 85 grados centigrados.
4. Revisa que el voltaje en las baterías, durante el arranque, no sea mayor a 15% de su valor nominal.
5. Verifica que la presión del aceite sea de alrededor de 450 kPa.
6. Chequea que los gases de escape no sean de color negro, gris, blanco ni azul.
7. Confirma que el voltaje entre lineas del grupo electrógeno no sea superior a 5%.
8. LLeva un registro de las medidas de sonido y de las vibraciones.
